Information on February 1 Meeting on the Quantum Workforce

On February 1, the WHOSTP and NSF organized a meeting on “The Quantum Workforce: Q-12 Actions for Community Growth.” The opening session featured remarks from the NSF Director, as well as other governmental personnel. There was a panel discussion and series of lightning talks with members of the quantum education community to highlight current successes and ongoing challenges. More than 240 people from across government, higher education, industry, K-12 education, and STEM non-profits registered to attend the event.  Following the opening session, there were breakout discussions to articulate community actions and form working groups for activities in the coming year.
