PhET Interactive Simulations

What is it?

PhET interactive Simulations are browser-based math and science simulations. There are simulations and teaching resources for: physics, math & statistics, chemistry, earth & space, and biology. Several simulations were created to help students explore quantum physics and quantum chemistry phenomena.

Most simulations have accompanying activities and teaching resources appropriate for high school students.

How can you use it?

The simulations can be accessed right in your internet browser. There is no need to create an account. The simulations and resources are appropriate for individual learners and whole classes. Several of the quantum-related simulations have been designed for middle and high school students.

A free account may be required to view some teaching resources (such as teaching tips for each simulation).

Quantum phenomena simulations can be found here: https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulations/filter?subjects=quantum-phenomena,quantum
