What is it?
“Quantum Composer is an interactive tool for visualizing and simulating quantum mechanical concepts and systems. It consists of a graphical user interface where one can drag-and-drop nodes to create a flow-based simulation. The powerful and versatile quantum visualizations make it relevant for use in education and research.”
The Quantum Composer is easy to use with a drag-and-drop approach. The tool can be used to simulate single-particle (Schrödinger equation) and mean-field Bose-Einstein Condensate (Gross-Pitaevskii equation) systems.
How can you use it?
The Quantum Composer is free to download and is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Learn more: https://www.quatomic.com/composer/
Quantomic, the creators of the Quantum Composer tool, have also created student exercises that can be completed with the Quantum Composer. There are five exercises that have been designed for advanced high school students. Solutions to the exercises can be requested from the Quantomic team. Check out the excises: https://www.quatomic.com/composer/exercises/
To assist with using the Quantum Composer, a reference guide was created that walks users through key quantum concepts and how those concepts are represented in the tool.
Videos and more information about how the tool can be used in an educational setting is available at the bottom of the Quantum Composer webpage.
