The Quantum To-Go program goal is to match scientists, engineers, and professionals in the field of Quantum Science, Engineering, and Technology with classrooms across the country to introduce the importance of quantum science and technologies and increase student interest in pursuing Quantum fields to enter the quantum workforce.
Information for Quantum Professionals
Quantum To-Go is a great way to do outreach for World Quantum Day. Once you sign up, we will match you with a teacher interested in bringing THE WORLD OF QUANTUM to their classroom. All visits will be VIRTUAL and will take place during the month of April 2023 to celebrate World Quantum Day on April 14, 2023. You and your matched teacher will work out specific dates, times and details for your visit.
Participants will commit to approximately 2.5 hours of time dedicated to:
- A 1-hr visit (depending on length of matched class)
- A 1-hr training session
- And time needed to correspond with matched teacher to plan visit
